The whole song is basically acoustic chords played on overdriven guitar so I thought I'd
a "chords" tab. This is the rhythm guitar only but sometimes (like during the verse)
lead will play with it.

Chords used:
C - (x32010) G - (320003)
E - (022100) Am - (x02210)
F - (133211) G#5 - (4665xx)

Intro:
C G E Am F G C
(x2)

1st Verse:

Am E F
Don't want to fall in love when it's in front of us.

Am E F
Why can't we dream? Fantasize without compromise,

Am E F
A tear duct short of an alibi.

       G E Am E
Please thaw me out, and brush me off.

F
Is love quite the fallacy,

Underneath the mystery?

Chorus:

C G E
So, you finally came,

      Am F
Right out of my head,

    G C G#5
And into my arms

C G E
Now these feelings I know,

     Am F
I'll never let go,

     G C G#5
I've beaten the game.

2nd Verse:

Am E F Am
My alter ego's upstairs strung out on the couch.

  E F
I need a touch of innocence, so comfortable.

Am E F
    So velvet lush and nectarous,

      G E Am E
There is a price to pay for dreaming.

F
Is love an emergency?

Join in my perplexity!

[Chorus]

Solo:

Am E F Am E F Am FG E Am E F

[Chorus (x2)]

Nice. If you get tired of holding that F for those pre-chorus lines, you can always play F for the first line and then Fm for the second line.
