You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.This is the last movement of the most famous of Handel's Organ Concertos, aptly nick-named "The Cuckoo & The Nightingale" because of the birdsong imitation in the second movement.
This is an interesting project because of not just the full scoring for brass band, but also the dove-tailing of parts to accomodate the wide expanse of the arpeggio nature of the main motif. Although the staccato notes are shorter in Sibelius than I would want (as to emulate strings) I hope the arrangement sounds fairly convincing.
N.B., One thing I need to clarify is that although I want to keep the concertante feel of the original, I don't want it to be perceived as a transcribed "solo vs. tutti" transcription.
