When the melody continued to haunt me, I decided it was a keeper, and wrote the rest of the music. I don't remember being in a particularly melancholy frame of mind, but this insistent fragment that wouldn't leave me alone is typical of the birth of several of my songs. The only way to exorcise them is to put something more complete on paper." Duration: 2'30".
