Published by Debbie Center (S0.12311).When I was a kid, one of my favorite things to do was to listen to my father play flamenco and classical music on his guitar. Although he was a concert violinist his whole life (he began playing concerts at age 5!), his fun and relaxing instrument was the guitar. He often played "Recuerdos de la Alhambra", and he even taught me to play it as a duet with him, both of us playing guitars. Tragically, Dad died when I was only 14. For many years, I couldn't bring myself to listen to that piece.Finally, I began to love the piece again. I decided that I'd never be able to play it on the guitar, so instead, I arranged it for solo piano. I uploaded onto YouTube a recording of me playing my piano arrangement, and have loved playing it for many years. Meanwhile, I was getting emails from people all over the world who wanted to learn to play my arrangement. It took five years before I finally decided to transcribe my arrangement. I am now thrilled to be able to offer the sheet music for my arrangement! I hope you'll enjoy playing it as much as I have. .
