The book of John refers to Jesus as the "light of all people". Jn 1. Jesus even referred to Himself as the "light of the world". Jn 8. 12. It is this imagery of light that provides the unifying thread for "Behold the Star. " This extended work for choir, narrators, and congregation is a blend of original and familiar carols.
