Commissioned by Folsom High School, this version is based closely on the big band arrangement performed by the Airmen of Note. There are some moments in this chart that are fairly mind-boggling, and a well-rehearsed live performance of it is absolutely sure to impress an audience. The feel is largely a 12. 8 funk groove over which the ensemble floats the gorgeous melody. Lots of solo space, including a straight-ahead swing section. Soli section, backgrounds and an interesting ending. This chart has it all. SSAATBab with rhythm section.
